Description
Here is a very rare P. Diller Klay's Multiplying Plate Holder Back. It fits on a 8x10 studio camera and the two holes on the bottom meant it fit into the Anthony type cameras. The back is quite inovative and allowed one to take many pictures on a single 5x7 piece of film. All the parts move and I see the piece moving inside which holds the film but I am not guarenteeing that it works. It is sold as an antique collectable. There was a piece of 5x7 film on it with 12 squares so it looks like the last time it was used someone was taking 12 pictures on a 5x7 film. It makes a great piece to attach to your camera for display or to add to your collection as the piece is quite rare. It comes with the removeable diaphragm which fits on in the back but some of the wood is missing from it. If you do searching online you can find out alot of good infomation on the piece by going to the Piercevaubel website.
